The highly anticipated Crown Jewel 2023 finally delivered a spectacular show. The magnificent night was headlined by Roman Reigns and LA Knight. From not even receiving a spot at WrestleMania to headlining a PLE with the biggest superstar of sports entertainment, Knight has finally cemented his place in the main event scene. However, did The Megastar manage to topple the Head of The Table?

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is on his way to continue his record-setting, historic reign in 2024. Reigns successfully defeated LA Knight to retain his prestigious Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Although Knight did not win the tempestuous clash, the spotlight he received this very night surely consolidates his place at the top of the card.

This is the same man who was on a losing streak earlier this year, but tonight the 41-year-old stunned the WWE Universe by kicking out of a vicious spear. At one point, it looked like Knight was inches away from climbing the top of the mountain. However, all his efforts came crushing down after back-to-back distractions from Jimmy Uso.

The 38-year-old sneaked his way into the match to assist the Tribal Chief. However, The Megastar initially managed to fend him off by pounding his head against the announcer table. A few moments later, Jimmy headed back towards Knight. While the latter was busy tackling Uso, Reigns dashed forward to connect a massive spear sending Knight over to the barricade.

It was followed by a second spear in the ring to score the win on a count of three. The Tribal Chief was the last man standing at Crown Jewel 2023. Roman Reigns’ historic championship reign continues. It will be interesting to see what’s next for the champion.

The much-awaited main event of the recently concluded WWE Crown Jewel PLE witnessed a thrilling battle between Roman Reigns and LA Knight. This night not just marked Knight’s maiden PLE headliner match, but also his first shot at the prestigious Undisputed Gold. Regardless of the outcome, the final showdown instilled a rush of adrenaline in the Riyadh fans.

The Saudi crowd was engrossed in the main event match from the get-go. The packed arena not only received the Megastar with a deafening pop but also with an ocean of “yeah” signs. The fans in the arena exploded with wild “a**hole” chants directed at the reigning champ later in the match.

Further into the match, the Mohammed Abdu Arena was bursting with “you can’t wrestle” chants yet again pointed towards the Tribal Chief. Being the pro that he is, Reigns skillfully played into the crowd chant. At one point, the fans even burst into CM Punk chants. All in all, the crowd’s constant interaction and involvement amped up the match to another level.
