WWE programming has majorly lacked the divine presence of Big E. Since picking up that devastating neck injury in March last year, he’s been sidelined for good. However, the former WWE Champion has constantly updated his fans over the progress of his broken neck. The latest piece of information won’t be excite many, for sure.

In an interview with The Urban Times, E got asked about his Royal Rumble status. Without much of a doubt, he completely ruled out any kind of fantasies circulating lately. And for a good reason, this ain’t a swerve. The Powerhouse of The New Day wants his severely damaged C1 to solidify completely before his in-ring return.

“I have to get some more scans at the one-year mark in March, and then we’ll see how everything’s looking, but we’ll see from there… I was very fortunate, so I just want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself, so we’ll see in March.”

As stated above, this coming March, at the one year mark of his injury, Big E needs to get some more scans. They’ll further suggest what needs to be done. Also, everyone needs to make sure the WWE Superstar is recovering well and not prompting himself to jump on the gun. One has to respect the Mother Nature and like every human being, Big E needs time to recover completely.

Back in 2021, Big E shut down his critics and captured the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley. This was a result of his successful Money in the Bank cash-in attempt. Then kicked off a reign which turned out a little underwhelming after it was concluded.

Despite of the initial happiness, fans began to turn their heads real soon over him. Finally, after WWE realized that Big E won’t be the best fit heading into WrestleMania 38 as the WWE Champion, they took away the prestigious strap away from E. At Day 1 premium live event, he lost the gold in a Fatal-5-way match to Brock Lesnar, involving The Beast himself, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley.
