Dolph Ziggler hasn’t been much in the limelight this year. Ziggler’s last championship win was the NXT Championship win at NXT Roadblock. This was his first World Championship win in the WWE after nine years. WWE seemed to compensate him with the victory. Dolph Ziggler held the championship for 26 days before losing to Bron Breakker on the April 4 edition of RAW. The Former World Champion has had a great WWE career, headlining several PPV events.
Even though Ziggler has had a successful WWE career, fans believe that he should get one last World Championship run before his retirement. Dolph Ziggler has always been decent on the mic and phenomenal in the ring. Ziggler’s intense, high-risk style and penchant for big bumps is something that has caught the eye of audiences. His ability to make other stars is just fantastic. Ziggler has been a part of the WWE for 19 years now, and fans look forward to what is next for him.
During a recent interview with “The Archive of B-Sox podcast,” Ziggler spoke about his future in wrestling. He said that he is lucky not to have had a major injury during his career. In these 19 years, Ziggler has only missed a few weeks of work. A career in stand-up comedy has been a lifelong dream of Ziggler.
He stated that he now dedicates half of his week to comedy and feels that he may wrestle for another 10 years. Ziggler said that he is able to pursue other interests like doing an improv show and giving an audition for Broadway. The former World Champion stated that he would enjoy wrestling in a big match after 15 years and appearing in WWE four times a year.
“I’ve been very lucky so far and may be here for 10 non-stop years in a row … but I like being able to branch out — whether it’s to go talk politics somewhere, do an interview, do a one-man show, do an improv show, do an audition for something on Broadway…. But I would love in 15 years from now I’m showing up in WWE four times a year to wrestle somebody in a big match….”

Dolph Ziggler comments on being a veteran in the WWE
During a recent appearance on “Andy’s Hall Pass” podcast, Dolph Ziggler spoke about being a veteran wrestler on the roster. He said that it feels great to be a veteran, and he loves helping out the young talents in the company.
Ziggler stated that even if he is helpful, he has a competitive spirit in him and wants to steal the show every time. He said that it’s not about winning titles or fighting a specific person but making this business better by giving top notch performances.
“Oh yeah, of course…. ‘Oh, he’s an old vet,’ well yeah. I can help people out backstage…. I also have this ego and have this talent that I go, ‘Damnit, I want to steal the show every night no matter where I am or if I’m on the card or not……It’s not titles, it’s not a certain match, person or whatever. It’s to have this business be better….”

Dolph Ziggler’s recent appearance in the WWE was on the December 5th edition of RAW. He interfered during the United States Championship between Austin Theory and Mustafa Ali. The interference cost Ali the match, and Ali began arguing with Ziggler.
