Dominik Mysterio has been a prominent heel on Monday Night RAW and ultimately led to his father’s departure from the brand which led Rey Mysterio to join SmackDown and will be facing Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Dominik after aligning with The Judgement Day has been on a continuous streak to humiliate his father and even the fans were stunned by this shocking avatar.

Now, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has suggested a peculiar change for the Lucha Labrador who is enjoying his heel persona. While speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Ray suggested that it would be great for Dominik to shun his last name Mysterio and add Guerrero to his last name.

The strange suggestion came after Dominik’s last promo on Monday Night RAW where he claimed that he was Eddie Guerrero of this generation. Bully Ray also said that he loved the relationship between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio and loves how Rhea continues to manipulate Dominik. He further added that any shot on Eddie Guerrero’s legacy would bring huge heat to anyone.

Talking about the name change the Hall of Famer said- “Getting back to the name thing, I know they did the angle years ago with Eddie possibly being Dom’s dad, what about Dominik taking the Guerrero last name over the Mysterio last name?…..drop, get rid of the Mysterio last name? There can be nothing more insulting to the family than for Dom to say that he is disgusted by this last name“.

Dominik Mysterio will team up with fellow members of The Judgement Day Finn Balor and Damian Priest to take on Aj Styles and The recently returned The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) at Crown Jewel on November 5th at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Though the match has ended up being in jeopardy due to a situation of Anderson with NJPW but is still on the cards.

Dominik Mysterio shocked the whole WWE Universe at Clash at The Castle when he turned on his father Rey Mysterio and his tag team partner Edge after their win over the Judgement Day. Edge and Mysterio were celebrating their victory before an agitated Dominik would kick a low blow to Edge in one of the most memorable moments from the premium live event.

Dominik would also turn the clock around when he would clothesline his own father in a similar fashion in which WWE legend and former rival of Rey Mysterio Eddie Guerrero did. Since then he has aligned with The Judgement Day and has continued to humiliate his father which has now led to Rey’s transfer to the Blue Brand. It seems like the company wants to save the big match for a much bigger event such as WrestleMania.
