Second-generation superstar Dominik Mysterio is having the best run of his lifetime following his alliance with The Judgment Day. The 26-year-old is currently enjoying his second reign as the NXT North American Champion. Recently, in an interview, Dominik revealed the real reason behind not wearing a luchador mask like his legendary father, Rey Mysterio.
The 26-year-old recently appeared on the WWE digital exclusive: “WWE Tattooed” to provide an insight into his body tattoos. During the interview, he was asked whether he would get his face inked with a tattoo. The superstar straight away dismissed the idea of getting a face tattoo. Moreover, he gave an interesting reason for his choice.
Dirty Dom calmly stated that he doesn’t prefer tattooing his face or wearing a mask because he is too good-looking to ink anything on his face. Taking shots at his Hall of Famer father, Dominik remained in his character throughout the interview. The young superstar has remarkably cultivated the knack for drawing an unfathomable amount of audience heat on a weekly basis.
He said,“That’s gonna be a no-go. I’m too pretty, man. You know, there’s some things you gotta stay away from, and I say this proudly, I’m too good-looking to tattoo anything on my face, that’s why I don’t wear mask, you know my dad wears a mask, he should get face tattoos, cause he’s probably ugly,” suggesting his father Rey Mysterio wears a luchador mask to hide his grotesque face.
