Before possibly displaying his wicked side on television, Drew McIntyre seems to enjoy some time off the ring with his wife.

The storm known as Drew McIntyre rarely catches a breath these days. Based on his growing scorn for Cody Rhodes, it appears as if McIntyre might snap at any given moment. However, keeping that aside for a bit, he recently made it to the People’s Choice Country Awards in Nashville. Last night, via X, the former WWE Champion rocked a catchy look with a black cowboy hat surmounted on his head. Moreover, he did wear his classic kilt.
To accompany him was McIntyre’s gorgeous wife, Kaitlyn Frohnapfel. The adorable couple had a blast out there before they posed for some flashy cameras. Back in May, Drew’s wife learned a tragic piece of news: her sister passed away. It was such a tough time for the pair, as losing someone that close in relation would tear anyone. Moreover, at that juncture, The Scottish Warrior was running absent from WWE television.
Despite lingering contract rumors, Drew McIntyre’s return to Money in the Bank suggested resolved issues. While reports speculate on his contract status, which is expected to expire next year, McIntyre seemingly has no intention of leaving WWE.
The 37-year-old has proven himself to be one of the top stars in WWE. He attained glorified success back in 2020 when he pipped Brock Lesnar to capture the WWE title at WrestleMania 36. However, since it was behind closed doors, he would always consider himself unlucky to have climbed the ladder in such an anticlimactic manner.
WWE is constantly dropping the teases for Drew McIntyre’s heel turn
Last week on Raw, McIntyre joined Miz TV en route to his tumultuous trajectory on the red brand. Ever since Jey Uso was traded to Monday nights, The Scottish Warrior has been gaslighting. He’s well aware of what The Bloodline, including Jey, did to him while Drew was feuding with Roman Reigns. So in a nutshell, how could he trust Jey this time around based on what the former Right Hand Man made him go through in the past?
Coming back to Drew’s segment on Raw, Miz tried to boil him up against Cody Rhodes for his zeal to have Jey Uso on Raw. However, before much could transpire, The New Day interrupted the segment and questioned McIntyre’s recent actions, which led to a match between the Scottish wrestler and Kofi Kingston.
In a clash between two former WWE champions, McIntyre eventually prevailed as Ivar of The Viking Raiders distracted Kingston. Incensed over last week’s loss to Kofi, Ivar pancaked the New Day member as McIntyre did nothing to save Kofi from the callous beatdown. He simply left the scenes as the packed house in Ontario booed The Scottish Warrior.
