The influencer boxing scene is at its peak at the moment. KSI will take on Tommy Fury, while Logan Paul is set to make his boxing return after two years against Dillon Danis on October 14 on the Misfits Prime card. The press conference for the event took place on August 22, and things turned chaotic.

John Fury, out of all the people present during the show, lost his cool on stage and started smashing everything in his sight. Moreover, all the participants squared off before security held both sides apart. Interestingly, Drew McIntyre made a quirky comment regarding the situation. He compared the Misfits conference to contract signings and press conferences in the WWE.

“See, it’s not just in wrestling where press conferences and contract signings descend into chaos,” wrote the Scottish Warrior. Obviously, the comparisons are valid, as such segments on television often turn into brawls between the opponents. McIntyre himself has been a part of contract signings with the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns.

The 38-year-old is currently in a newly formed tag team with Matt Riddle. Moreover, they are feuding with the Viking Raiders on Monday Night RAW. There have been rumors that Drew McIntyre has yet to renew his contract, which is set to expire in the near future.

Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest superstars in the wrestling industry. His road to becoming WWE Champion in 2020 was one of the most organic stories in the promotion’s history. However, three years later, the Scottish Warrior has slowly transitioned into the mid-card scene on the main roster.

Fans have been waiting for McIntyre’s heel turn for a long time, claiming it would be a fresh start for the 38-year-old. However, it seems unlikely given his recent comments on the possible scenario. While speaking on the podcast Stay Busy with Armon Sadler, Drew said, “People are calling for a heel turn, but I’m not willing to do that unless it makes perfect sense.”

Moreover, he mentioned that he could understand John Cena’s perspective on not turning. Obviously, the latter himself was a polarizing figure during the PG Era, with some fans demanding a change in his character for years. Therefore, Drew McIntyre stated that only if there was the right time and place would he be willing to pull the trigger.
