The WWE Universe got a glimpse of a bizarre yet funny moment on Raw when there was a special request put forward for Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre made his surprise return to WWE last week at Money in the Bank. He appeared on this week’s Monday Night Raw after a long hiatus. McIntyre came to the aid of Matt Riddle when the latter was attacked by Imperium members. Moreover, the Scottish Warrior was seen in a backstage interview with Byron Saxton. A hilarious segment was caught on camera where a lady was heard screaming at McIntyre from somewhere backstage.

The backstage segment had Matt Riddle thanking Drew McIntyre for helping him out against the Imperium members. Riddle said that now that McIntyre is back, they can both team up to take on Imperium next week. It was then that the lady was heard from a distance screaming at Drew to “take his top off”. Although the voice was not clearly captured on the microphone, The Scottish Warrior heard it vividly, and his response hilariously addressed the lady’s request to be heard aloud.

Matt Riddle was left chuckling after the lady’s hilarious comment but stopped himself from laughing on screen. During the segment, McIntyre further stated that they can take out Imperium next week, but now is the time to celebrate his return and Matt’s victory. However, the lady’s scream backstage became the most entertaining thing in that segment. Watch the video here.

Riddle’s match against Giovanni Vinci was a squash match. The Original Bro took out the Italian star when he reversed the submission move into a roll up pinfall. Ludwig Kaiser then attacked him for defeating his stablemate but was put down by McIntyre, who then came in.

The 38-year-old is rumored to challenge Gunther for his Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. It has also been speculated that Drew could be the one to end The Ring General’s year-long reign as champion. The hard-hitting match will be looked forward to by many and could come out as the match of the night at The Biggest Part of the Summer.

Triple H on Drew McIntyre’s return to WWE

Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE at the Money in the Bank event in London. His return saw him confront Gunther and hit him with a Claymore Kick. While McIntyre’s return has surprised fans, Triple H spoke about it during the Money in the Bank press conference.

The Game was asked if Drew McIntyre had any friction with the company. HHH denied this and stated that the sole reason for McIntyre’s hiatus was his injury. The Game also mentioned that the Scottish Warrior was recovering from his injury during his absence. Hunter expressed his excitement to have the former WWE Champion back in the company.

The Scottish Warrior’s last appearance came at WrestleMania 39 against Gunther and Sheamus. The fans witnessed an incredible showdown for the Intercontinental Championship. Gunther went on to win the match and continue his indomitable reign as the champion. However, with Drew McIntyre returning, The Ring General’s championship reign is in jeopardy.
