Since then, McIntyre has been giving cryptic explanations regarding his heel turn. Recently, the Scottish Warrior posted a video and shed light on the reasons behind his change in character.
The 38-year-old went on to explain that his attack on Jey was perfectly justified, given that he was wronged by him. He is deeply wounded by the loss against Roman Reigns and described as one of the worst phases of his career. Drew put all the blame on Jey for denying him his best moment, winning a world title in front of the fans.
The Scottish Warrior questioned the fans, “Who’s a heel? Who’s a bad guy?” He implied that after everything Jey Uso and The Bloodline did to him, how could Drew McIntyre be the bad guy? McIntyre further explains that he did what he exactly should’ve done: punish the person who has done wrong to him.

The 38-year-old posted a picture on X of a fan who trolled him with an NSFW gesture during a Raw. Drew countered his situation with a sarcastic tweet, saying, “Thankful for all my fans.” He implied that he does not care about what people say; he will do what he wants to do. McIntyre’s heel turn has been unfolding many enthralling things.
The Scottish Warrior turned heel and aligned with Rhea Ripley. Along with The Judgment Day, he will take part in the WarGames match against Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and returning Randy Orton. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the Survivor Series.
