Drew McIntyre’s journey at WWE has been amazing to say the least. The Scottish Warrior has seen it all from being called The Chosen One to proving himself to be The One. After working as a jobber for many years in the company Drew decided to leave the company and focus on himself.
He then went around the world, wrestled for several promotions before returning to the company and eventually becoming their top face. McIntyre is currently one of the top stars in the company and is viewed as one of the strongest superstars on the roster.

McIntyre recently challenged Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle premium live event, which he eventually lost after an interference from the latest member of The Bloodline Solo Sikoa. But, the match was enough to prove that McIntyre has enough willpower that at one point of time even Reigns was shocked at how to defeat him.
McIntyre has seen a lot of ups and downs in his career which acts as an ultimate motivation for the former WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre is currently involved in a feud with Karrion Kross and is scheduled to challenge him at Extreme Rules two weeks from now on in a traditional Strap Match.
But, it seems that the match is in danger as McIntyre doesn’t seem to be fit enough to qualify for the match. PW Insider has reported that Drew McIntyre is reportedly suffering from Food Poisoning and might be pulled out off all the upcoming events, Wrestle Ops Tweeted.
The page wrote on Twitter- “PWInsider: Word making the round is Drew McIntyre’s been very ill with bad food poisoning but gutted his way through SD (including getting IV treatment to help him get through the show).”
Actually, it was being asked that why Drew McIntyre was not showing at recent WWE live events despite being the top star, therefore as per the sources McIntyre is currently suffering from Food Poisoning and had to get an IV treatment to get through SmackDown.
It’s impressive that even after dealing with such a huge problem how McIntyre was able to engage in such a physical segment. Fans on Twitter were quick to point out McIntyre’s strong will and dedication towards his work which makes him special.
However, many users said that now with McIntyre being unfit his match with Kross at Extreme Rules is also in danger. But, others were quick to point out that there’s still two weeks to the event and McIntyre can recover till then.
