Following this week’s vicious attack on Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar has accepted The American Nightmares’ challenge for a match at SummerSlam. As this week’s RAW aired live from Atlanta, Rhodes’ mom also made an appearance as she sat in the front row of the State Farm Arena. After a merciless beating in front of his mother, the situation has become personal for Rhodes’ family. Now, Cody’s stepbrother, Dustin Rhodes, has sent a warning to Lesnar.

Dustin Rhodes has taken to Twitter while addressing that if he could, he would take down Brock. Rhodes wrote, “Everyone knows I still have gas in the tank.” and hinted at destroying The Beast Incarnate. He then stated Cody as Codeman while adding “Codeman’s got this” and insulted Brock Lesnar with a middle finger emoji.

This is not the first time Rhodes’ family has criticized Brock’s vicious attack on The American Nightmare. Cody’s wife, Brandi Rhodes, has also shown her displeasure with Lesnar’s attack on Rhodes. By all means, WWE has been successful in keeping this storyline engaging, with Rhodes’ family also being a part of it in several instances.

As the path for SummerSlam looks quite set for Lesnar and Rhodes, there is still more drama to it than is expected. The third and final encounter between these two megastars should be something different from their previous matches. Thus, a deadly stipulation can add spice for both stars to dominate the matchup.

WWE’s official streaming network, Peacock, has been a big partner in the company, producing shows for them. One of those shows, a documentary about Cody Rhodes, is set to release on July 31. The show, titled American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes, will showcase his journey from the beginning of his career.

The official tagline for this documentary says this show “illustrates the transformation of a man who is blazing a new trail in sports entertainment.” The documentary is directed by Matt Braine, Vince McMahon, and several others. The executive producer for this show is Rhodes himself, with Steph Amell being the narrator.

Cody’s time in WWE with his brother Dustin Rhodes and leaving it in 2016 enlightened his career. A few years later, his contribution to the foundation of AEW was considered noteworthy. After making AEW a main-stream promotion in the wrestling business, Cody’s return at WrestleMania 38 made him a megastar.
