This Thursday in Las Vegas, Dwayne Johnson‘s actions at the WrestleMania XL presser ensued country-wide hubbub. However, a Kentucky-based journalist named Nick Sortor completely blew the WWE-staged event out of context. As known, Johnson was heavily booed by those in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena. But the reporter spun the narrative and posted how people in Las Vegas denigrated the Black Adam star for his unfulfilled promise to aid wildfire victims in Maui.

The minute-long clip that was contorted by Sortor had nothing to do with the calamity that disrupted the course of living in Hawaii. Instead, the fans were simply reacting to Johnson acting anti-Cody Rhodes. Now, The Rock has launched a tirade against the distorted reporting of Nick Sortor. He said he usually doesn’t respond to false clickbait garbage like that. However, since Nick leveraged the tragic events of Maui to draw attention to himself, Johnson hit back fiercely.

The Great One basically confirmed turning heel during the mentioned press event in Vegas. Further, he rolled out the record books for those who’d lost track. Dwayne claimed to have already delivered an aid of over $50 million as part of the People’s Fund of Maui.

The Attitude Era icon had previously received backlash in his pursuit of helping the needy. Continuing his post on X, Johnson unearthed his deep ties with Hawaii. Being a native of Polynesia, the UFL co-owner urged Nick Sortor to make amends for his uncanny act and iterated that he should help the affected if he could.

Dwayne Johnson returns to WWE SmackDown next week

As mentioned earlier, Dwayne Johnson made headlines following his demonic actions at WrestleMania 40 presser in Sin City. He slapped the taste out of Cody Rhodes’ mouth, siding with Roman Reigns. Next week on SmackDown, Rock and his cousin will journey to Utah for the first time since joining forces earlier this week.

The Samoan duo is expected to lash out at Triple H following his claim that he’s the supreme decision-maker in WWE. Rock has already declared that he now has an aversion to Cody Rhodes. On Raw, The American Nightmare is expected to address the Hollywood star’s out-of-line advances.

Meanwhile, Dwayne must be incensed at WWE CCO Triple H for not altering his decision to pit Cody against The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania. It’s heavily speculated that The Rock will compete in some capacity at The Showcase of the Immortals this April.
