Whatever went down at the WrestleMania press conference in Las Vegas was unprecedented. Apart from where it’s leading, one thing has been made official. Cody Rhodes will face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Philadelphia. However, that promulgation was followed by a smack in Cody’s face by Dwayne Johnson. After Roman adjudged that Rhodes was irrelevant, like his late father Dusty, The Prodigal Son got one of his own.

Cody said that if Roman and The Rock’s grandfathers were there, they would’ve been ashamed of The Tribal Chief. And guess what? The Rock took notice of what Cody just said. He told The Prodigal Son that if someone disrespects Roman’s family, it applies the same to The People’s Champ as well. And after exchanging a few more words, Rock slapped Cody. All hell broke loose after that.

Seth Rollins, who was there the entire time, became incensed at what The Rock did. The Visionary seemed as if he were gunning to punch Dwayne, had it not been for security pulling everyone apart. The scenes were Roman and Rock on the same page, trying to defend their Samoan legacy against Cody and Seth.

As one would expect, rumors have picked up in regards to a potential tag team match between the mentioned names. After the dust appeared to have dwindled on the stage, the cameras rolled back to the host panel.

Michael Cole asked CM Punk about what he made out of that mess. Punk, though, said that Cody might finish his story at WrestleMania, but he needs to do better than what he did out there.

After the presser, WWE CCO Triple H was standing beside Jackie Redmond. The Game admitted that it’s hard to tell what transpired on the center stage. Continuing, Paul said that people tend to go into business for themselves on nights like these.

And before he could say any more, Dwayne Johnson, along with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, stopped by. Johnson asked Triple H to fix whatever Cody Rhodes did, talking smack about his family. The Brahma Bull even warned Hunter that if he doesn’t do what needs to be done, Johnson and Reigns will take care of it.

Just before leaving, The Rock uttered something profane, that was obviously beeped but left an indelible mark on Triple H’s face.
