Dwayne Johnson turns down a massive offer of starring in a Superhero movie

While Black Adam received negative reviews from critics, it appears that the audience enjoyed it, as seen by its 89% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. With a $195–230 million budget, Dwayne Johnson’s most recent film brought in $389 million globally at the box office.
Despite the fact that some consider Black Adam to be a box office hit, certain media outlets have called it a box office bomb because it was unable to cover its entire production costs after marketing and distribution expenses.
Nevertheless, Dwayne Johnson made it plain in a recent tweet that he has confirmation from his financiers that the movie produced roughly $400 million, and they are building their new franchise step by step for the future.
Black Adam is a spin-off of the movie Shazam, and a few years ago, Dwayne Johnson was set to appear as the villain Black Adam in the movie Shazam as a supporting character. Johnson being a big movie star at the time, the studio executives didn’t find it appropriate to cast Johnson in a supporting role and decided to split the two movies.
Shazam, which was released in 2019, was a huge success, as was its sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be released in March 2023. Dwayne Johnson was approached for a cameo as Black Adam in the sequel to Shazam! but Johnson turned the offer down. According to Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap, “Rock passed on doing a cameo in Shazam 2 when he was asked.”

Dwayne Johnson to fight Roman Reigns on Night 2 of WrestleMania
There have been numerous reports regarding Dwayne Johnson’s return to the WWE. Since Roman Reigns began his unbeaten streak as World Champion, there has been speculation about who will dethrone the Tribal Chief. Reigns has currently completed 838 days as the world champion and 257 days as the Undisputed Universal Champion.
Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns being cousins, it seems that the WWE wants to show that a member of the Anoa’i family can be the one who can beat Reigns. There have been reports that Dwayne Johnson is being booked to beat Reigns at WrestleMania 39. It has also been speculated that Johnson may enter the Royal Rumble and probably win it for the second time in his career.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns may appear on both nights of WrestleMania 39, with Cody Rhodes as his opponent for night 1 and Johnson for night 2. This could also be the time when titles are split and RAW receives a world champion.

“One of the things talked about internally in WWE is for Reigns to wrestle both nights at Mania, with the working ideas being Cody Rhodes and Dwayne Johnson. Nothing is definite and actually today the best bet is that it won’t take place like that. There is also talk of splitting up the titles so Raw has a world champion after Mania.”
As of yet, nothing has been confirmed, and the plans will not be finalized until mid-January. Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson is currently filming for his upcoming movie, Red One. The movie stars him and Chris Evans in the lead roles, with Johnson also serving as the producer. The film will be released in 2023, with no set release date.
