First, they announced that Netflix would be joining forces with the sports entertainment juggernaut to gain exclusive media rights for their flagship show, Raw. Not only that, the watershed moment was usurped by the appointment of Dwayne Johnson to the Board of Directors of TKO Group Holdings. He did not stop there, as the wrestler-turned-actor then surprised his WWE family in Stamford.

According to WrestleVotes, The Great One joined WWE’s All-Staff Meeting at the newly assembled HQs in Connecticut. The rendezvous was held to celebrate such a momentous day for the Nick Khan-led company. The Rock’s participation was extempore, and it would’ve brought smiles to many faces. Earlier, WWE CCO Triple H and Vince McMahon also shared their excitement to welcome Johnson to an all-new venture.

As per the SEC filing, Dwayne Johnson is also slated to receive over $30 million in TKO stock.
