Dwayne Johnson’s image in Hollywood is top-tier. While he rose to be an audience’s favorite, there were many stories that brought him against his co-stars in real life. During their shoot of the ninth sequel of the iconic Fast and Furious series, Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson got involved in some real-life feuds.
The two stars had contradicting thoughts over the release date of the movie. Dwayne’s busy schedule led him to postpone the release date of Fast 9. Gibson was clearly upset about the same which compelled him to have hard feelings for the ‘Black Adam’ star. Tyrese didn’t stop there and continued to reveal his hatred for Dwayne on social media too.
The movie’s release was postponed by a year which meant that the paychecks would too get delayed. Gibson played the role of Roman Pearce in the movie but felt that both Dwayne and the 7 Bucks production had made the movie all about him. He also once wrote, “You mess with family and my daughter’s survival, I mess with yours.”
He also shared a post on Instagram with Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel in the frame and said that if Dwayne was a part of the Fast and Furious sequel, there wouldn’t be Roman Pierce. Despite the knick-knack, the two stars sorted out their differences and got back to being great friends.

Tyrese Gibson also involved Paul Walker while talking about Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson’s movie postponement seemed to affect Gibson tremendously. He not only criticized Dwayne openly but also went ahead to call him “selfish.” The star also said that Fast and Furious had only been postponed once and that too when the world lost one of its finest gems – Paul Walker.
Tyrese Gibson went ahead to believe that Dwayne Johnson’s other ventures kept him preoccupied leading to a change in the timings of the movie. Apart from the movie, Dwyane was claimed to have more interest in the other industries that he had stepped into. Tyrese is a musician himself and the change in dates would have caused a lot of trouble for him as well.
Dwayne Johnson is also quite involved in his work apart from acting, he has not only been an active member of Hollywood events but also has made his presence felt at the WWE. Despite being rumored, the Great One is rumored to step up in the ring at WrestleMania against his cousin Roman Reigns.
