Dwayne Johnson is arguably one of the biggest names in Hollywood as well as in WWE. Therefore, any superstar interacting with The Great One is considered a big deal. Recently, former NXT Superstar Grayson Waller had a banter with The Rock on Twitter, and he invited him to come to his show, “The Grayson Waller Effect.”

The two got into an exchange on Twitter as Waller called out The Rock for his funny ring gear on his debut at Madison Square Garden many years ago. The 33-year-old said that his debut was better and that he is set to be a bigger star than The Rock. To this, Johnson replied, saying that his looks and sound are more cringe-worthy than anything he ever did. He also called out Waller for having a funny haircut.

To this, Waller replied, saying, “Ouch! Those classic 1999 schoolyard insults really still hit.” Additionally, he said that The Rock has an open invitation to be a guest on his show. Waller believed that Johnson was in desperate need of a Grayson Waller rub. The former WWE Champion has not appeared in WWE for over 3 years, so it is highly unlikely that it might happen now.

It was rumored that he would face his cousin, Roman Reigns. However, that match never came to fruition as Roman Reigns faced Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39. Dwayne The Rock Johnson is currently shooting for multiple movies set to release in the upcoming months.

Grayson Waller was called up to the main roster when he was drafted to SmackDown during the 2023 WWE Draft. Since then, the Australian has hosted his show, The Grayson Waller Effect, on SmackDown multiple times, and the segment has received good reviews. The segment was recently highlighted again when WWE Hall of Famer Edge came on the show.

It was a precursor to his match at MSG, which also happened to be the in-ring debut for Grayson Waller on the main roster. Waller also had a segment with John Cena at Money In The Bank, when the 16-time Champion made a surprise appearance at the event. It is being reported that the higher-ups in WWE are impressed with Waller’s performance.

During his time in NXT, AJ Styles was a guest on Waller’s show, which was a big deal. Therefore, it looks like the 33-year-old is set for a big push in the coming months. Fans will have to wait and watch how the upcoming months turn out for the Australian.
