Will ‘The Grandest Stage Of Them All’ of 2023 be the last WrestleMania for Edge?
Edge
With 2023 just starting, the heartbreaking rumors have started to gain great control of the WWE’s future plans. 2022 introduced many stars to the WWE main roster. With an increasing number of stars, it now appears that 2023 will witness a lot of retirements. One prominent name that has shown up during this conversation is the ‘Rated R Superstar.’
Edge has grown over the years into one of the audience’s favorites, and multiple hearts are on the verge of breaking as the rumors of Edge’s retirement float around in the air. There has been no official confirmation from the superstar’s end as of now, but the rumor has already started to have an impact on his fans.
According to Xero News, the ‘Rated R Superstar’ plans to retire from the WWE ring in 2023. If he continues with the same plan, then WrestleMania 39 would be his last WrestleMania. Edge is currently in a feud with Finn Balor, who took his place as the leader of The Judgment Day. The two will be facing each other at the Royal Rumble as well, which is hardly a month away.
However, many high authorities want him to continue until WrestleMania 40. The final decision will lie in the hands of the superstar himself. Edge has already said that he plans to retire in August 2023 after performing one last time in front of his home crowd. Fans hope that the authorities will be able to convince him to stay longer.

Edge and Beth Phoenix are out of the WWE ring since Extreme Rules
The Rated R superstar went against Finn Balor at Extreme Rules in an ‘I Quit’ match. Finn was accompanied by other Judgment Day members who tried everything they could to force Edge to give up. Rhea tied Edge’s wrist with a handcuff to the top rope, preventing him from moving. It was then that Beth Phoenix came to his rescue.
As she stood strong in front of her husband, Rhea Ripley attacked her. As she lay in the ring, Rhea didn’t hesitate to make a brutal attack on her. Edge was helpless and could do nothing but see his wife in pain. Finn threatened him to say “I Quit” if he wanted Beth to be safe from the attack. Edge had no choice but to give up.
But only the perfect heels can portray their nature in the ring. As Beth lay sandwiched between the steel chairs, Rhea took no time to hit her, leaving Edge a broken man. He called for the medical team with his wife gently lying on him. He will exact retaliation for the insult hurled by meeting Finn Balor inside the ring.
