Edge is undoubtedly one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. His accomplishments and accolades speak for themselves. The Rated R superstar made his historic return to WWE after being away from wrestling for nine long years. In a recent podcast with Corey Graves, the WWE Hall of Famer named a prominent WWE star in the company as the Rated R superstar of this generation.
Ever since his return to the Royal Rumble in 2020, the WWE legend has given the fans the pure privilege of beholding him in in-ring action. He has been a part of some of the incredible, top-notch storylines on the main roster. Besides, his passion for the sport has been visible in his fervent matches. However, while speaking on After The Bell podcast, Edge referred to Seth Rollins as “the Rated-R superstar of Now.”
Edge eulogized Seth Rollins as one of the greatest superstars of this era. The WWE legend said that there are a lot of similarities between him and The Visionary. On contemplating the rosters of the last few years, Edge said he would probably pick Rollins to be worthy of carrying his popular title in this generation. “But to me, if I look at it, and if I make the comparisons to rosters of yesteryear, like he is the Rated-R Superstar of now, he is firmly doing his own thing,” he said.
However, while speaking to Corey Graves, the Hall of Famer also said that Rollins has carved his own path over the years. Edge sang high praises for the former WWE Champion and said that he’s in a league of his own. Moreover, he admitted that Seth Rollins has been perhaps one of the most entertaining things on WWE TV for a long time. He feels that if there’s any superstar who could be claimed as the Rated R superstar of this generation, it’s him.
Rollins and Edge had a long history with each other. The two of them crossed paths several times in WWE. Besides, WWE involved Edge in a heated storyline with Rollins in 2021, which the fans had long waited to see. However, the feud between the two superstars culminated in an incredible match at Hell in a Cell at Crown Jewel. As a result, the fans witnessed one of the most phenomenal matches between the two prominent WWE superstars.

Over the last few months, The Hall of Famer has been involved in a storyline with The Judgment Day. Besides, Finn Balor interrupted Edge during his match for the US Championship against Austin Theory at Raw. As a result, Balor gave a statement saying that the rivalry is far from over.
According to rumours, the two superstars will clash with each other at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The proliferation of the storyline is a corroboration of that.
