WWE suffered significant losses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it now appears that the company is back on track to deliver massive hits. Recently, the WWE Universe witnessed the Elimination Chamber and based on the fan reactions, the event seemed to be a complete success.
The success of the Premium Live Event is now affirmed by the WWE, which announced that the 2023 Elimination Chamber was a record-breaker in multiple aspects. Sharing the news on their official website, they wrote, “The 2023 Elimination Chamber, which emanated from the Bell Centre in Montreal, became WWE’s highest-grossing and most-viewed Elimination Chamber in company history.”
The company recorded a 54% increase in viewership for the event as compared to the statistics of 2022. The host city, Montreal, recorded 2023’s data as the largest gate event for WWE in the city. WWE also claimed that the gate record of the Elimination Chamber had been the highest of all the Elimination Chambers ever conducted.
The records were not only broken in terms of viewership, but the company also marked a great milestone in its merchandise sales. The Premium Live Event broke all the merchandise records. Overall, the event raised its revenue by over 300% after a mediocre event last time. Apart from this, WWE generated, “The highest-grossing Priority Pass fan experience packages for any non-’Big Five’ premium live event through WWE’s partnership with On Location.“

Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns gave a huge bump to Elimination Chamber records
Despite the complete Elimination Chamber being one hell of an event, it was the segment involving Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns that won over the entire WWE Universe. The segment earned a whopping 20 million+ views on WWE’s social media platforms alone, leaving out the other company’s handles.
The success of the aforesaid segment can be measured by the massive crowds that gathered at the Bell Centre. The crowd’s chants have been the loudest in a considerable time. Sami’s turn against The Bloodline has earned a lot for the company. This also led Sami Zayn to start a new line of merchandise for himself, bringing huge numbers to the WWE.
Despite Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against the former ‘Honorary Uce,’ Sami Zayn received a massive ovation from his home audience. With his excellent performance, Sami Zayn has been showered with beautiful words of praise since he joined The Bloodline.
