Mercedes Mone, a.k.a. Sasha Banks, is one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling. As per some recent speculation, Mercedes might sign with WWE sooner or later. Amid her return rumors, one of the biggest stars in the women’s division, Charlotte Flair, suffered an injury. Now, as per WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff, Flair’s injury might pave the road for the return of Mone.

On his Strictly Business podcast, Eric stated that Charlotte being out of action creates a lot of opportunities for women in professional wrestling, including Mercedes Mone. Moreover, Eric expressed his excitement for the return of Sasha Banks to WWE, if it happens in 2024.

Furthermore, many WWE veterans believe Mercedes Mone is WWE-bound in 2024. In essence, she has teased several times in the past couple of months of her return to the company. Although it is unclear at the moment, a report surfaced on the internet that stated that Mone is asking for a ludicrously high salary.

Only time will tell if Sasha ever returns to the WWE. However, after teasing for months, she may be seen on WWE TV in 2024. Besides, Banks left WWE last year due to some personal conflicts. She then pursued her career in NJPW before suffering an ankle injury.

Sasha Banks has been teasing her WWE return for a while now. The fans have been spotting WWE references on her social media posts now and then. Recently, Banks posted a story on her Instagram. Fans have been implicitly concluding it as another hint towards her return to the company.

The Boss posted on her Instagram a story of a Funko Pops of herself by WWE. Her action figure can be seen holding the former SmackDown women’s title. Fans have been speculating it to be yet another tease towards her WWE return.

Moreover, as per some, Royal Rumble might be the place Mercedes makes her much-awaited return to WWE. She has had an illustrious career in WWE and has been a top performer in the company. It is going to be interesting to see if banks returns to the company in 2024.
