The Executive Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon, has been executed with a search warrant and subpoena from the Federal Law Enforcement agents. The judicial matter has been raised as a continuation of his investigations for sexual misconduct. WWE disclosed this news in their recently released quarterly earnings report.
Last month, on July 17, Vince McMahon was served with the warrant and federal grand jury subpoena. More details of these judicial matters have not been revealed by the company yet. However, it stated that no charges have been filed against Mr. McMahon.
WWE confirmed that the individual inquiry into the former WWE CEO has concluded, but the federal investigation has started over now. They also stated that the company could be getting involved in those investigations as well. WWE CEO Nick Khan has denied commenting on this but has confirmed that he will be cooperating with these investigations.
Vince McMahon underwent spinal surgery two weeks ago. His leave of absence began on July 21 and he will be away from his duties for quite some time. But WWE stated in their quarterly report that he will continue to secure his position of Executive Chairman.
The 77-year-old has been under investigation for nearly a year now regarding his alleged scandal. WWE had appointed a special committee to look into his allegations of misconduct and completed the task in a few weeks. Vince McMahon retired in July 2022, but as the investigations ended, he made his return to the company as the Executive Chairman instead of retaining his CEO position.

Series of events during Vince McMahon’s downfall
Vince McMahon stepped down from the position of CEO of WWE back in July 2022. On June 15, 2022, Vince was the subject of WWE’s investigation amidst “hush money” accusations of sexual assault. This also affected John Laurinaitis’s tenure as EVP of Talent Relations getting replaced by Bruce Prichard.
On June 17, 2022, McMahon appeared on SmackDown and stated WWE’s catchphrase, “Then. Now. Forever and most importantly Together!” Soon after he resigned, Stephanie McMahon was appointed as the interim CEO of WWE. But Steph soon turned down the position of CEO to look after her family.
On July 22, 2022, Vince retired from WWE as in the meanwhile, his allegations had grown to 12$ million. This decision was in the work for weeks, but a public announcement was made by him on Twitter. This also led to Nick Khan being the CEO of WWE while Triple H replacing Prichard and began his era of creative control.
