After going on a winning spree, Cody Rhodes met his first speed bump at last year’s WrestleMania. Although The Undeniable One is looking to finish the story this year, the stakes are at an all-time high. This is because Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has become The American Nightmare’s biggest ‘nightmare’. Last week, Rocky returned to Raw to ensue a bloodbath on the fan favorite Superstar.

During the ongoing assault, fans caught a glimpse of a nearby truck. On that truck, fans saw The Rock‘s two biggest rivals, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and John Cena. The WWE legend added fuel to the rumors recently. A video surfaced on X where the WWE HOF’er was left bewildered upon discovering Easter eggs in a beer basket in the back of his truck.

This immediately sparked speculation about the iconic Superstar potentially coming to WrestleMania XL to help The Prodigal Son finish the story. The stipulation for Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes II will be decided after the ‘Mania Saturday main event. However, the WWE Universe is well aware that whether or not the biggest WrestleMania match is contested under Bloodline Rules, the faction will somehow interfere.

The odds are clearly stacked against the former AEW EVP. With Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Jey Uso in his corner, The Tribal Chief has Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and The Final Boss. Also, Drew McIntyre might go after The Visionary despite getting his title shot before the main event. Hence, fans are hoping to see if Rhodes calls Cena and Austin to save the day.

The WWE Universe is amped up for Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes II

Despite having the odds stacked against Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns is still not completely in the safe zone. If the rumor of WWE legends returning indeed comes true, Reigns’ 1310+ Undisputed title reign is seriously in jeopardy. Moreover, The Tribal Chief would not be able to surpass Hulk Hogan as the second-longest-reigning WWE Champion.

The duo of John Cena and Steve Austin returning makes perfect sense. The 16-time World Champion has an unsettled score with The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa. Meanwhile, there is no point in addressing the legendary rivalry Steve Austin and The Rock had during the Attitude Era. Here are some of the top reactions on X:

Multiple fans had their say regarding how Roman’s reign of terror can finally conclude at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Moreover, one fan claimed that the Son of a Plumber is silently building his team of Avengers to take down the tyrannical faction. Another fan pointed out how Austin deliberately mentioned his WrestleMania 19 match with Rock. All in all, fans couldn’t contain their excitement and cannot wait for this weekend’s extravaganza.
