The first-ever pitch-black match was expected to be a massive success. Despite the fact that Bray Wyatt won, the segment seemed to disappoint the audience.

Royal Rumble 2023 had been an eagerly anticipated event for the WWE Universe for multiple reasons. The audience seemed ecstatic as Bray Wyatt faced off against LA Knight in a Pitch Black match. With an already eerie atmosphere built around the match, the neon lights seemed to make the match even more pleasing to the eyes.

The match marked Bray Wyatt’s first-ever return to a Premium Live Event since his return in 2022. During the 5-minute match, the two stars were seen taking advantage of every element possible in and around the ring. However, LA seemed utterly confused with Wyatt’s persona that he witnessed inside the squared circle.

Bray Wyatt won after delivering a fantastic Sister Abigail to LA Knight while getting hit by a kendo stick.However, this was not the end of their match. Bray’s celebration included him chasing Knight all through the crowd. LA tried to stop Wyatt and hit him multiple times, but it did not seem to affect The Eater of Worlds in any aspect.

As LA tried to escape the completely different personality of Bray, he finally submitted as Bray held him by the neck. LA Knight fainted before Uncle Howdy appeared on the screen and jumped off the roof onto Knight, leaving the area amidst the explosion. The WWE Universe seems to be tremendously impressed with the new gimmick Bray Wyatt carried to the ring.

Bray Wyatt never fails to bring something new to the table. His new persona seemed to have impressed all of his audience. Since not much action was involved in the ring, a large segment of the WWE audience seemed utterly disappointed with the same.
