As Cody Rhodes was dealing with the heartbreak following a crushing defeat at WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar came out of nowhere and ripped him apart on Raw and fans are stunned.

WrestleMania 39 featured an incredible main event that had everything one could want from a headlining match. Cody Rhodes gave his everything, as he was willing to finish his story by capturing the Undisputed title. However, he came up short and suffered a crushing defeat in his biggest match. The following night on Raw, Cody Rhodes shared the ring with Brock Lesnar while confronting Roman Reigns.

The Raw after WrestleMania 39 opened with WWE CCO, Triple H, introducing everyone to the Undisputed champion, Roman Reigns. Before the Tribal Chief could speak, he got interrupted by his Mania opponent, Cody Rhodes. After acknowledging Roman as a better fighter, The American Nightmare eventually asked for a rematch on Raw.

However, the special counsel to the Tribal Chief, Paul Heyman, denied the proposal. Cody then asked for a tag team match against Reigns and his enforcer, Solo Sikoa. The Wiseman accepted the challenge on the condition that Cody’s unknown partner would never get an Undisputed title opportunity against Roman Reigns.

Brock Lesnar made his entrance, and the crowd went absolutely bonkers. The Beast Incarnate agreed to partner with Cody for a stupendous tag-team match. Just as the main event was about to start, Lesnar shocked the world by turning on Rhodes and hitting an F-5 on him. Meanwhile, Roman and Solo left the ring, and the match didn’t even start.

The Beast Incarnate continued his brutal assault on Cody for more than five minutes. Lesnar also thrashed Cody on the announcer’s table and put him through the steel stairs as well. While walking out of the arena, Brock made a “F*ck you” gesture, as he officially turned heel. The crowd stood stunned throughout the assault.

WWE Universe clearly didn’t see that coming, as they gave a genuinely shocking reaction. The majority of fans on Twitter are surprised at Brock Lesnar turning heel and pummeling Cody Rhodes.
