Wrestlers getting injured is a common sight in the world of professional wrestling. The recovery from these injuries can take anywhere from a week to a year. In some cases, the injuries turn out to be life-threatening or fatal. WWE Superstar Braun Strowman is the latest wrestler to suffer an injury and undergo a surgery.
Braun Strowman returned to the WWE in September 2022. Since then, he has had feuds with Omos, Ricochet, and Gunther. He later formed a tag team with Ricochet to join forces and take down The Imperium. Strowman also challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship in January, failing to get the victory. The 39-year-old had a decent performance in this year’s Royal Rumble, eliminating Omos, before being eliminated by Cody Rhodes.
The former Universal Champion posted a video on his social media account recently. It was a short briefing of Braun Strowman’s day in the hospital as he went through surgery. The video also included a detailed look into the procedure of the surgery.
With the video, Strowman added the location of the hospital and the name of the doctor in charge of the operation. He also thanked WWE for their support and care in the process. Lastly, The Monster Among Men promised his fans that he would be back soon as the road to recovery began.
Before Strowman suffered the injury, he was a regular presence on WWE programming. He was drafted to Monday Night Raw in the 2023 WWE Draft. Strowman was gaining momentum as a tag team player along with Ricochet. Fans were starting to take an interest in the tag team as both wrestlers have very contrasting styles of performance.
