And that’s it. Becky Lynch is indeed going to WrestleMania. She outhit and battled through five other women at the 33rd annual Elimination Chamber PLE. To begin with, The Man commenced the tango with Naomi. The two went at a methodical pace and took calculative risks. Naomi was a tad more shrewd in her movements. Tiffany Stratton‘s pod opened, and the crowd went bonkers.
Donning her gymnastic background, Tiffy meant business. She stunned Becky and Naomi, much to the adulation of over 50,000 in attendance. Liv Morgan was the next to enter, and she ragdolled Tiffany. Liv drove Stratton’s face on a couple of pods and mocked her. Naomi hit a neck-breaker on Morgan off the chamber pod, only for Tiffany to take advantage and pin the ex-TNA Knockouts World Champion.
Raquel Rodriguez came out at number 5. And obviously, she asserted her physical dominance over other women. Lynch, Morgan, and Stratton combined weren’t able to win Rodriguez. And the vociferous folks at the Optus Stadium started chanting “bullsh*t”, potentially over that fancied spot. Bianca Belair was the last to enter the match, and she brought that flair with her.
Tiffany got that massive spot when she threw caution to the wind while diving over everyone atop the pod. Liv Morgan soon eliminated Tiffany Stratton, and the crowd heavily booed it. Bianca Belair came into the act, and she dashed Raquel’s WrestleMania dreams. Liv, Becky, and Belair were the final three.
They fought till death, but only one could’ve won. The closing sequence saw Morgan steal a pinfall over Bianca. And then, The Irish Lass Kicker outmaneuvered Liv, courtesy of the Manhandle Slam.
WWE fans are divided over Becky Lynch’s Elimination Chamber coup
As the crowd reaction suggested, Tiffany Stratton was the MVP of that match. She showed out this early in her main roster journey. Her elimination sucked the air out of what appeared a boisterous ambience at the beginning.
Though some fans are elated with Becky Lynch’s outcome, there are many who thought that Stratton should’ve went the distance. A fan called WWE out for letting Liv Morgan pin Bianca Belair just by a mere roll-up.
A lot of fans praised all six women for wrestling their hearts out. However, the closing stretch which involved a couple of pinfalls, didn’t sit well among many. There were few who thought WWE should’ve allowed Liv to be the winner and settle her score with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.
