WWE recently announced the official date and venue for the Fastlane premium live event, which will be held by the end of the year.

WWE has officially confirmed the date and venue for their upcoming premium live event, Fastlane 2023. The spectacular event will be held in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 7th. The premium live event will return after two years. The last time it took place was in March 2021. Fastlane has always been a very successful event for WWE, with great matches in the past.

The WWE Universe witnessed some great matches in Fastlane 2021. It was very popular among the fans and generated quite a bit of revenue. The main event saw Roman Reigns defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan, with Edge as the guest referee. It was a spectacular match, with both superstars giving their all. However, Reigns retained the title in the end.

Last time, Fastlane could not have a live crowd due to Covid-19 restrictions during that time. With the event returning this year in front of live crowd, fans have high expectations. It will be a very cheerful atmosphere, as the Indianapolis crowd has a history of being very involved in the matches they see. Therefore, it is expected that the October event will witness spectacular things.

Fastlane 2021 had some great matches, featuring some of the most prominent names. Drew McIntyre battled Sheamus in a “No Holds Barred” match. Moreover, Big E squared off against Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship. Despite having no crowd, the fans took to social media to praise and cheer the event. It was quite a success for WWE during the pandemic.

The main event of Fastlane 2021 had lots of drama and twists. Roman Reigns tapped out to Daniel Bryan’s “Yes lock”, but unfortunately there was no referee during that time. Then, Edge attacked both superstars and left the ring frustrated as Reigns pinned Bryan to retain his Universal Championship. The match did not end as the fans expected.

WWE announced the return of the Payback premium live event after three years, which will be held in September 2023 just before Fastlane. This was the place where Roman Reigns pinned Braun Strowman to win the Universal Championship and start his historic reign. Therefore, fans are on the edge of their seats to witness the upcoming events.
