Things are definitely not well within The Judgment Day at the moment. Over the past few weeks, Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been at loggerheads. Well, those disputes escalated this week on Raw. In the main event, Seth Rollins faced Dominik Mysterio in a non-title match. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were ringside to have a closer look.
Amid growing chaos, Senor Money in the Bank attacked Seth Rollins, causing a disqualification ending. Dom advised Priest to cash in his contract on the spot. It appeared like he was able to do so until Finn Balor arrived out of nowhere and inadvertently pushed Rollins into Priest. That prevented a potential cash-in and threw The Archer of Infamy to the outside. Meanwhile, Balor perched on the top rope to fend Rollins off until Damian Priest stopped him.
Then, a violent argument broke out between the Judgment Day members. Priest was visibly mad at Balor for snubbing him once again. On the other hand, Dominik tried to soften up Seth Rollins near the steel steps, receiving a Pedigree in return. During the closing moments, Damian Priest can be heard voicing his disregard for The Prince. Watch the video here.
The 2023 Mr. Money in the Bank urged Balor to not make this thing about himself, viewing the Judgment Day as an afterthought. The cracks are opening up real quick in the faction. Much like The Bloodline, WWE can transform the Judgment Day’s breakup into several chapters of magnificent storytelling.
Was Damian Priest the right choice for this year’s Money in the Bank winner?

The answer to this question can be very subjective. As is known, LA Knight was the favorite heading into this year’s men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Everyone wanted the self-proclaimed Megastar to unhook that briefcase in London. However, WWE didn’t see him as a viable contender to hold that contract. In fact, they chose Damian Priest.
Several arguments can be made on this topic concerning why Priest eclipsed Knight. To be the Devil’s Advocate, giving Priest his flowers was a good call. He has been toiling hard on the main roster for quite some time now. As a result, the Money in the Bank victory was WWE’s way of giving him back.
Besides, Damian Priest being Mr. MITB can lead to a better storyline for the Judgment Day. As is palpable, Finn & Damian have been busting heads at each other as of late. A theory is swirling around, which certainly garners fans’ interest. According to that, some folks believe that Damian Priest should cash in over Finn Balor if and when The Prince becomes the World Heavyweight Champion.
