“It saddens me today that women around the world still have to fight for choices regarding their own body “ – Finn Balor’s controversial tweet divides Twitter into two halves
Finn Balor
WWE superstar Finn Balor recently took to Twitter to express his solidarity toward women’s rights activists. Balor wrote about his upbringing in a country where abortion was banned, while females in the country had to travel to the UK for healthcare solutions. Next, he wrote that he feels sad to see women still have to fight for their rights. His tweet reads as follows: “I grew up in an Ireland where abortion was banned & women had to travel to the UK for health care. In 2018 this ban was over turned in a landslide victory for women’s rights. It saddens me today that women around the world still have to fight for choices regarding their own body”
Following his controversial tweet, Finn Balor’s fanbase was split into two halves, with mixed reactions pouring in all over social media. Some of his followers requested him to not talk about such topics as that could alienate his own fanbase.

Finn Balor’s life following inclusion in The Judgment Day
After Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest ditched Edge earlier this month, all of a sudden Finn Balor was in control of The Judgment Day. After being introduced as the newest member of the gang, Edge first escorted Balor to the ring, but Priest surprised the Hall of Famer and started a vicious beating.
At the Hell in a Cell premium live event, Balor had fought in a six-person tag match against The Judgment Day with AJ Styles and Liv Morgan. After Ripley created an interruption, Edge pinned Balor.
After the match, there was no sign that Balor would join the group and become a heel. He said in the Raw segment that he had spoken to the three of them at some point and had told them that teaming up would be the best move for his career. He managed to negotiate a contract with Priest and Ripley without Edge’s knowledge.
After a successful second stint in NXT, the 40-year-old joined the WWE main roster again in July of last year, but has since been mostly underutilised. The upcoming weeks are likely to see a change in that.
