During a recent interview with WWE’s El Brunch, Finn Balor revealed the reason as to why Edge was thrown out of the Judgment Day. Balor said that Edge was not a friend but more of a colleague and that he has a lot of colleagues in the wrestling industry and very few friends. According to Finn Balor, the senior wrestlers’ desire to manage the junior wrestlers and their attitude toward the juniors are both outdated and unappreciated by him. Finn said that he doesn’t look down on anyone and doesn’t want to be looked down by someone and Edge was doing the same, thereby the need to throw him out of the group was necessary.

In the same interview, The Former Universal Champion talked about his bout with Roman Reigns that happened at WWE Extreme Rules 2021. Finn Balor said that he has some unfinished business with Roman Reigns and that the finish to their match at the extreme rules was a questionable one. Balor cited the top rope breaking mysteriously and is suspicious about it. Balor feels that there should be a rematch and he hopes to get it after the Clash at the Castle.

“Me and Roman Reigns have a lot of unfinished business. There was a little bit of a ‘questionable finish’ to our last match at Extreme Rules when the top rope mysteriously broke in our championship match, so I feel there’s a rematch due with myself and Roman. Hopefully, we’ll get to that soon after Clash at the Castle.”

It has been speculated that Finn Balor might face Edge at the Clash at the Castle Live event.
