Randy Orton, at 43, is having the time of his life in WWE. He has transmogrified into an erudite veteran, and there’s a reason why he didn’t get mad at a fan at the Royal Rumble. The latter hurled a profane obscenity while Orton was making his entrance for the fatal 4-way match. The said fan called The Viper “a bad motherfu**ker,” and if one looks at it, he didn’t mean it in a bad way.
Randy, who’s endured countless interactions as such during his illustrious career, simply acknowledged the fan. The 14-time World Champion suddenly turned and pointed a finger at him, as if he meant the fan was right about his remark. The fans loved this mini back-and-forth and appreciated Orton’s sangfroid. However, he couldn’t keep his promise to dethrone Roman Reigns that night.

At one point, when Randy caught Reigns mid-card with an RKO and was about to pin him, Solo Sikoa precluded the three-count. The Apex Predator had a menacing look at Solo, who also didn’t take his eyes off Randy. It was the closest The Legend Killer came to upsetting The Tribal Chief. The match ended when Reigns pinned AJ Styles following a spear, also outdoing LA Knight‘s valiant effort.
Heading into the match, one would say that Orton had the best chance among the challengers. However, Reigns’ insurance policy, Solo Sikoa, as always, saved the day for him. And later, Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble match for the second consecutive year. He outright pointed to Roman Reigns as the one. It’s pretty much confirmed that they’ll run it back this year at WrestleMania.
Randy Orton might face Solo Sikoa at WrestleMania
WWE is en route to WrestleMania. And, at this point, only one name pops up in mind who could battle Randy Orton in Philadelphia. It’s none other than the guy who virtually robbed The Viper at the Royal Rumble, Solo Sikoa.

Even though there would be a portion of fans who may not align with this idea, WWE seems to have sown the seeds. Sikoa got the biggest win of his career last year when he beat John Cena at Crown Jewel. If anything, that did tell how much potential the company sees in The Enforcer.
However, despite Cena putting him over, WWE did not follow it up. A massive feud with Randy Orton might be something that would propel Solo into an orbit where he needs to be.
