Roman Reigns has proven himself to be the biggest draw in the wrestling industry through his outstanding run as the World Champion. He is set to defend it for the 26th time against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble. Throughout Reigns’ incredible run as a World Champion, Owens has faced The Tribal Chief three times for the Universal Championship.

The Undisputed Championship is expected to be held by the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 39, despite rumors of a championship split. With rumors of The Rock fighting Reigns at WrestleMania, it will be the biggest win of Roman Reigns’ career.

Due to him being a top guy in the company for several years now, Roman Reigns has been a locker room leader over the years and is a respected figure backstage. Back in 2016, former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore had a lot of heat backstage with some talents, and it was due to his unprofessional attitude.

There were reports that, during a summer tour of Europe, Amore’s outrageous behavior on the bus led Roman Reigns to kick him out of the vehicle. Enzo Amore has, however, repeatedly denied that the incident ever happened.

During an appearance on Monte & The Pharaoh LI#1 Pro Wrestling Broadcast, Enzo Amore told his version of the story. He said that he got into a physical altercation with a guy from the locker room and punched him in the face. He stated that he never had a fight with Reigns, and due to his fight with the other talent, he had to face the consequences.

“I got into a physical altercation and it wasn’t with Roman Reigns, so I had to change buses. I got into a fight with a guy in the locker room and I punched him in his f***ing face…..Vince [McMahon] puts you in the main event. That’s the truth. That happened.”

Back in 2019, during an appearance on the Corey Graves After the Bell podcast, Roman Reigns stated that he was grateful to the WWE for doing so much for him. He said that he would always be ready to put up young talent and do what is best for the business.

“I’ve been heavily invested in for years, so if there’s a way to help younger talent and bring anybody up, we should always want to be doing that. Being able to create new superstars and push the product even further.”

Roman Reigns’ work as the Tribal Chief is surely the best work of his career. The way the storyline involving the Bloodline has developed is simply outstanding. Reigns, who has always excelled in the ring but wasn’t always a good talker, has really improved since becoming a heel.

With The Tribal Chief’s current contract as a part-timer in the company, his days as a full-time wrestler are over. Reigns has spoken about his aspirations outside of the WWE and might appear sporadically in the future. When he decides to wrestle only on rare occasions or when the company wants to promote another talent, he will undoubtedly prioritize younger and other talents over himself.
