Former WWE Superstar Dustin Rhodes is one of the most talented wrestlers of all time. Dustin Rhodes is well known for his time in the WWE. Rhodes’ gimmick as Goldust is one of the influential gimmicks in the history of WWE.
The Former WWE Superstar was always seen as a mid-carder in the company and was dominant in the mid-card scene, winning the Intercontinental Championship three times, the Hardcore Championship nine times and the World Tag Team Championship once with Booker T. Dustin Rhodes even won the WWE Tag Team Championship twice with his real-life half-brother, Cody Rhodes, in the WWE.
Dustin Rhodes as Goldust was one of the most underrated characters of the Attitude Era, and he always got the crowd reaction at that time. The former WWE Superstar has had different versions of the Goldust character, but the Attitude Era version was the best one of all time.
Dustin Rhodes has had five runs in the WWE, with his latest run being from 2013-2019. It was during this run in the WWE that he formed a tag team with his brother Cody Rhodes and became a two-time WWE Tag Team Champion with him.

Former WWE Superstar Dustin Rhodes left WWE in 2019
Dustin Rhodes left WWE in 2019, bringing the end of his iconic character Goldust with him. The former WWE Superstar left WWE as he had enough and had a long-storied career with the Goldust character.
In 2019, during an interview, Rhodes stated that he had thought that he would retire, but then his passion got reignited when he wrestled his brother Cody in the AEW, and they delivered one of the best matches in recent times.
Dustin Rhodes also mentioned the WWE’s hectic schedule as one of the reasons for his departure. He expressed happiness over at the AEW as the schedule is lighter and he gets to spend time with his family.
The former WWE Superstar has been with the AEW for 3 years now and his most recent match was in August against Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship, which he lost.
Today on twitter, Dustin Rhodes posted on twitter regarding his future as a wrestler, He said that his old age has caught up and indicated his retirement from wrestling. He stated that he is seriously thinking about the next step in his life.
“Man, old age has caught up to me guys. As much as I push myself beyond my limits, I can honestly say, I am doing some heavy thinking about the next step. We all think we can go forever with new batteries, but TIME comes for all of us. Kinda scared tbh. #KeepSteppin”
