The popularity of Rhea Ripley has been above and beyond the world of pro wrestling. Her fans are everywhere, as was evident from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. NFL stars George Kittle, Talanoa Hufanga, and Elijah Mitchell were in the front rows during Raw. The San Francisco 49ers were met with a round of applause by fans as the show was taking place in San Jose, California.
George Kittle is a known pro wrestling fan and, therefore, loves to attend WWE events whenever he gets the chance. Additionally, due to the quality of WWE programming increasing dramatically, a greater number of fans are coming back to watching WWE every week.
During the show, Monday Night Raw commentator, Wade Barrett, did not hesitate to make a shade at Kittle’s friend and 49ers tight end, Travis Kelce. Barrett said, “Nice to see a tight end who doesn’t need to date Taylor Swift to put himself on the map.” The former Intercontinental Champion was referring to Kelce dating Swift to get fame.
On the other hand, Rhea Ripley returned to Raw this week after missing out for a few weeks. Therefore, many believe that the San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle, Talanoa Hufanga, and Elijah Mitchell showed up on the show seemingly to watch Rhea Ripley return to action.
However, a brawl broke out in front of her as Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, and Shayna Baszler all came out to fight Ripley. All three women want to challenge Ripley for her title. Therefore, it will be interesting to see what happens next on Raw for the Women’s World Champion.
George Kittle’s last WWE appearance at WrestleMania 39
The SF 49ers tight end has been a WWE fan for a long time. The last time he was on WWE programming was in April, when he was ringside at WrestleMania 39. George Kittle was spotted during The Miz’s match against former NFL star Pat McAfee. When Miz attempted to evade McAfee by leaving the ring, Kittle intervened and brought Miz down.

He helped Pat McAfee as the latter then dived on The Miz outside. McAfee then went on to defeat The Miz in a fun match at Mania 39. The two NFL stars then celebrated together in the ring as Kittle was standing by the ringside the entire time.
George Kittle is often brought up in WWE, as Roman Reigns also once praised the 49er. When asked who has the potential to come to WWE and have a good run, Reigns said that Kittle and Travis Kelce have the physique and potential to make it big in the Stamford-based promotion.
