Goldberg is one of the biggest names when it comes to the world of professional wrestling. He has given a lot of moments to the WWE Universe to recall and cherish for the rest of their lives. However, the former Universal Champion is not satisfied with how the company has treated him.

Speaking on the Roman Atwood podcast, he confessed that his relationship with WWE wasn’t great since the day he stepped in the ring. Goldberg already had a lot of accolades to his name before officially being a part of WWE. He was the highlight of WCW and had multiple championship reigns in his career at the company.

He knows that he doesn’t go well with the company. He said, “I worked for a company that was competing against them in the Monday Night Wars, and I had the title, right? So I don’t expect them ever to treat me like one of their own.”

Such a kind of disappointment from a celebrity such as Goldberg showcases major backstage issues with the management. Multiple superstars have expressed their thoughts on the environment of the company during Vince McMahon’s tenure and they were clearly not happy with the bookings and the controlled environment they were being put under.

Goldberg has officially been out of consistent in-ring action since his first exit from the show. After the big declaration by the former Universal Champion itself, he continues to make multiple WWE appearances. The 55-year-old superstar is still in shape and full of agility to turn up in the ring. His fans are always eager to see him in the ring.

He last appeared at Elimination Chamber to face Roman Reigns in a singles match. The brawl was highly anticipated by all as the challenger was determined to face the current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion for one more time. After a tough brawl, it was Roman Reigns who turned out to be the winner after a technical submission.

He is still one of the most powerful superstars in the company. He is very outspoken about his career and the companies he has worked for. His ‘spear’ remains one of the most iconic WWE moves ever. However, his contract with WWE will expire in December 2022.
