Not only did CM Punk tear his triceps, he also missed an opportunity to headline this year’s WrestleMania. Apart from that, Punk was also advertised to compete at the Elimination Chamber in Perth. However, it’s no longer on the cards. And to console his fellow people, the 33-year-old SmackDown sensation Grayson Waller led the march.

He vowed that the Aussie wrestlers would leave no stone unturned to justify their visit to the Optus Stadium. Waller further affirmed that WWE’s current roster is stacked and will add to the attendees’ pleasure. Before he got hurt, CM Punk was rumored to face Drew McIntyre at the Elimination Chamber. Fan footage from the Royal Rumble confirmed that Punk tore his triceps while taking McIntyre’s future shock DDT abruptly.

Last night on Raw, The Best in the World was full of tears while announcing that he’d miss WrestleMania 40. Crashing Punk’s elegiac address midway, The Scottish Warrior rubbed more salt on the wounds. Drew said that he was praying for The Straight Edge Superstar to get injured. The Chicago-based wrestler tried to instill bogey in McIntyre, but to no avail.

Australia, don’t stress. Myself and the other Aussies are going to give you every single bit of ourselves to make sure that Chamber show is absolute fire. The WWE roster is stacked right now- next man/woman up mentality.

The sling-ridden Punk endured a menacing assault from McIntyre. However, Sami Zayn arrived at Punk’s aid at the eleventh hour and tried to keep Drew at bay. The Voice of the Voiceless is expected to stay out of in-ring competition for a number of months. The earliest he could return is this year’s SummerSlam. However, that would solely depend on how Punk’s rehab pans out.

Who’s going to lead the baton for the Elimination Chamber?

With big names like CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns not slated to wrestle at the Elimination Chamber, that leaves the door wide open for Rhea Ripley. She has expressed a desire to headline a PLE in front of her own fans.

This week on Raw, she was annihilated by Nia Jax. And that’s the match WWE is expected to card for the big event in Australia. It remains to be seen if WWE calls Dwayne Johnson for a special appearance after recent tragedies.

After all, the tourism officials in Down Under lodged a bid to lure the Hollywood actor to appear at the premium live event. He could definitely be the need of the hour for WWE to make the Elimination Chamber an overall success.
