Former WWE star Lana was well known in the company for her pairing with her real-life husband, Rusev. As her time with WWE was about to end, she participated in an American reality show with several other stars. Lana spoke on the WrestleZone podcast about her filming period. She revealed that her co-star, former NBA legend Dennis Rodman, advised her to retire from wrestling and evolve.

The Surreal Life TV show featured several stars from various industries competing together. Lana and Dennis Rodman were also part of the show, and the latter urged The Ravishing Russian to leave wrestling. Lana got annoyed with Dennis’ constant sayings and became irritated due to his advice. She told him about his activeness in basketball at the age of 60 and how his fandom saw an increase after his retirement.

Speaking on the WrestleZone podcast, Lana stated how she then changed his mind about the whole retirement thing. Lana, being experienced, was given the chance to manage others during the wrestling challenge on their show. As the stage was set for promo battles, the former WWE superstar taught everybody about wrestling basics and how to do promos.

This led to The Ice Queen earning respect from Dennis, who appreciated her persuasive spell. Although Rodman then came back to prove his point about her retirement, he highlighted her managerial skills. He told Lana to quit wrestling and become a full-time manager, as he is incredible at it.

Dennis stated an example of how Charlotte Flair suits herself as a wrestler because of her wrestling background and also because of her performance. On the other hand, Lana is good at her soft skills, and hence, he advised her to progress in that section.

Lana reacts on Miro’s return at AEW Collision

Miro saw his in-ring return on AEW Collison after a hiatus of nine months. He was announced for the show earlier, but with an undisclosed opponent. Miro’s appearance on the debut show saw him interrupt Tony Nese and challengr him to a match. The former WWE superstar won the match with his Game Over submission.

His wife and former manager in WWE, Lana, commended him on his arrival in AEW in a tweet. Her tweet showcased a picture of The Redeemer’s dominant return with a one-word caption congratulating him. She tagged Miro and AEW’s official Twitter handle.

Miro was formerly known as Rusev during his time in WWE. Working alongside his wife Lana, The Bulgarian Brute had a pretty decent run in the company. The former United States Champion’s gimmick of “Rusev Day” was loved by the WWE Universe. However, WWE released him from their company later due to budget cuts.
