“I’m not even gonna call him,” Kevin Nash criticizes CM Punk harshly
CM Punk left AEW and may never wrestle again. He was suspended and has a big question mark above his name and is criticized by Kevin Nash.
CM Punk gave a nerve-racking interview in August 2022 and criticised the AEW members after becoming the AEW champions twice. He got injured during the fight and had to forfeit the title. He criticised Adam Page, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega, which led to the most significant termination in wrestling history.
After leaving AEW, there are big rumors that CM Punk might never wrestle again. He was immediately suspended from the industry, and his name currently has a big question mark next to it, as he has affected his lifetime’s respect. Nevertheless, he didn’t leave everyone with a good impression, as many professional wrestlers claim that Punk could have handled the situation more maturely.
In the most recent episode of the “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash reviewed the year 2022. He presented various awards to various wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry. However, he paid the worst tribute to CM Punk, “Boo Boo Face of The Year.”
“I hate to beat a dead horse. I’m gonna go with our friend Phil. I’m not even gonna call him CM Punk anymore, cause he doesn’t work anymore.”
Kevin Nash claims that CM Punk is a dead horse, and he will call him by his real name, Phillip Jack Brooks, and won’t call him by his ring name because the wrestler doesn’t work for the industry anymore. Kevin Nash isn’t the only one criticizing Punk; last week, John Morrison opened up on his situation and claimed that CM Punk should have acted more professionally, as what he did in the press conference was not good for business. Although Kevin Nash seems to have a strong view of the Second City Savior, it will be intriguing to see what CM Punk’s next move in professional wrestling is.
Will CM Punk return to AEW in 2023?
Punk has been speaking out more and more about his association with the AEW. He showed a graph in his Instagram story, showing the top 2002 uploads to the channel in terms of video views. With a whopping 6.4 million, Wheeler Yuta leads the field, followed by Punk/Moxley-FTR and Jeff Hardy’s debut. That’s not all; more interestingly, Punk then mocked AEW by saying that this is why he is one of the best wrestlers in the business, as statistics show that he is one of the most viewed, even though he is not performing in the ring.

However, Punk has been taking a break from the ring to heal from surgery to fix a ruptured left triceps muscle. He sustained at All Out in September. Since then, he hasn’t been on AEW programming because of the fallout from the industry. CM Punk can revive his career by returning to WWE, since the fans love to see Punk back in action. Furthermore, fans hope Triple H can bring him back to WrestleMania by competing against modern-era wrestlers like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Logan Paul.
