Maniesh Paul revealed Jinder Mahal as his current favourite WWE superstar

Jinder Mahal is a former WWE Champion which he won by defeating The Viper Randy Orton back in 2017 at Backlash pay per view event. After that he went on a rampant run with the title defeating Orton in some rematches and Shinsuke Nakamura before eventually losing the championship to AJ Styles one week prior to Survivor Series. Even after losing the WWE Title, Jinder Mahal later onto win the United States Championship at Wrestlemania 34 in a Fatal-4-way match against Rusev, Randy Orton and Bobby Roode.

In a recent video released by WWE on their digital platforms, Gaen Mendonca is seen interviewing Indian Anchor and Actor Maniesh Paul where he talked about her loge and passion of WWE and also named several of his all- time favourite from the past as well as from the current generation of superstars. At first, Paul named Dwayne Johnson a.k.a The Rock as to be his favourite WWE superstar ever and later revealed The Great One as the inspiration to many who aspired to build a great physique like him.

He jokingly said that although trying to imitate Johnson’s lifestyle, he could never build that body but still he’s a huge fan of The Brahma Bull till date. He also talked about his fellow Bollywood buddy Varun Dhawan as The Rock’s biggest fan which wasn’t much of a surprise as Dhawan has been very open about his love for WWE and especially for The Rock. Later in the interview, Maniesh also revealed his current favorite as The Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal praising the style, charisma and his walk to the ring.

He also remembered The Great Khali’s contributions to the wrestling business and later came to the recent Indian Skyscraper Shanky Singh’s arrival in WWE calling the Indian representation at that level to be very fantastic and honourable. Shanky also appeared in a pre-recorded video showing his gratitude towards the anchor for supporting them this much and also wished him best luck for the upcoming Maniesh Paul starrer “Jug Jug Jeeyo”.
