WWE Legend Hulk Hogan is making the headlines again. This time as well, it’s not for anything good. It turns out that the whole Hulk Hogan vs Gawker scandal is going to be televised on the second season of TNT’s Rich & Shameless.
For those unaware, the program will begin on May 7th and will be covering the entire scandal of The Hulkster’s legal battle with the media outlet, Gawker. Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, filed a lawsuit against the media outlet in 2013 when Gawker posted portions of Terry’s adult tape.
Hulk Hogan was the center of a lot of controversies in 2007. The media outlet posted videos of him where he could be seen having consensual sexual intercourse with his best friend’s wife. The video was secretly taped by his best friend, DJ Todd Allen Clem, who could be heard saying that Hogan and his wife could “do their thing” while he went to his office. The fact that the video was being recorded was unknown to Hogan, who later filed charges against Allen Clem for invading his privacy. After settling the case, he sued Gawker for posting the video online.
Hogan filed the lawsuit against Gawker, several of the company’s employees, and the company’s associates. This whole scandal generated a ton of buzz in the industry. The lawsuit eventually bankrupted Gawker, as they had to pay Hogan $120 million for damages after the jury voted in Hogan’s favor. Aside from the whole adult tape scandal, Hogan was involved in yet another controversy. He was caught on video for going on a racist rant.
Hulk Hogan was fired from WWE due to his racist comments

In 2007, a part of the video released by Gawker saw Hogan going on a racist rant. This caused a huge uproar and Hogan was immediately fired from WWE. In the video, Hogan rambled about his daughter sleeping with a black man and even used the “N” word. In the video, Hogan even said that he was a racist.
This whole ordeal tarnished Hulk Hogan’s name and soured his relationship with WWE and the fans. Although Hulk Hogan is a household name in the wrestling industry, all the love and respect for him vanished when the video came out. Since then, The Hulkster has come out and publicly apologized for his actions.
