Despite his illustrious career, he has also been the epicenter of controversy throughout his life. His past experiences have been lingering around him to this day. In a recent podcast with Joe Rogan, Ric Flair revealed that he pays massive alimony to his ex-wives.
The WWE Hall of Famer has had bad experiences in the past in terms of his married life. He had four wives but eventually ended up divorcing all of them due to circumstances. Moreover, The Nature Boy said in various interviews that he had a tough time settling in as a family man. While speaking to Joe Rogan, Flair revealed the whopping amount that he pays as alimony to his wives.
During the podcast, Ric Flair had a humorous take on coming back from his retirement in 2022. He said that he had to come out of retirement because he pays alimony to three women. As a result of Flair’s satirical statement, Joe Rogan burst out in laughter. Moreover, the WWE legend called it a “trend setter,” and therefore it left the two of them rolling in the aisles.
In addition to that, Ric Flair highlighted that he pays $2 million in alimony and $2 million in attorney fees. He further added that he pays a million and a half in penalties and interest, leaving Joe Rogan completely baffled. Flair, despite being a big name in pro wrestling, has had an unfortunate personal life. Besides, his past experiences have stuck around with him as a black spot until today.

However, The Nature Boy shocked the world when he rose from retirement last year. Flair expressed his urge to wrestle one more match in his career.
Jim Crockett Promotions organized a pay-per-view in 2022 in honor of the WWE legend. Moreover, the PPV was named “Ric Flair’s Last Match.” The Nature Boy competed in a tag team match with Andrade El Idolo to face Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. However, Ric Flair emerged victorious in his last match, bidding adieu to his illustrious career.
