JBL, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, recently made a return to Raw as the manager of former United States Champion Baron Corbin. Prior to this, he was a commentator for WWE. He had a fantastic stint in the WWE, but it ended abruptly.

The Texas Hawk lost his Intercontinental Championship to Rey Mysterio in a match at WrestleMania 29, and he was humiliated in the big match. He was beaten in less than 30 seconds, but it appears that he purposely allowed this to happen.

Bradshaw recently discussed his last match and claimed that he had selected the entire match, even the opponent. The chosen wrestler for JBL to have one final match with before leaving the company was Rey Mysterio. Bradshow even managed to have the most heat on him at this time.

JBL revealed this in the latest episode of Table for 3 podcasts where he said, “That’s why when my back got bad and I had to retire, that I chose you [Mysterio], and I said, ‘This is my last match, and whatever JBL has, you’re gonna get what I got,’ which ain’t a lot at that point. I tried to get as much heat as possible on myself and you that when that finish went off, that one, two, three, that whatever equity JBL had, I gave it to you,”

The Texas Hawk is presently managing the Lone Wolf Baron Corbin, and thus far they have both been able to show the fans what they are capable of, so WWE has pulled off a very major feat by bringing the WWE legend back to the current product.

Baron Corbin had a great booking up until this point because he had defeated many superstars, but JBL is taking a lot of heat from the crowd before the match starts. Despite his illustrious career, JBL still receives a lot of applause during his entrance, but when he picks up the microphone, he becomes evil.

After the pairing, an unusual thing occurred: people were more eager to see JBL than Baron Corbin, which is worrying for the WWE. JBL is successfully putting a lot of pressure on both of them, but Corbin’s lack of a proper plot is a major issue.
