Jey Uso was on a warpath this week on WWE SmackDown. He single-handedly ruptured the potential threats of Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman on the show.

After over three years of narcissism from Roman Reigns, things have started to implode. Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa believe that Jey Uso is the one to blame. This week on SmackDown, the Main Event Jey delivered a passionate promo. However, he quickly got interrupted by Reigns’ insurance policies – Heyman & Sikoa. They alleged that Jey was the only reason behind Jimmy Uso’s current state.

Heyman barked at Jey for disobeying his Tribal Chief. Also, the Wise Man tried to play with Jey’s emotions, something at which he’s a connoisseur. After Paul was done, Solo asked for the mic. He didn’t speak much but reiterated the Special Counsel’s words. After having enough, Jey snapped and he started throwing punches at his younger brother. After hitting a superkick to Solo, Jey Uso had The OG alone in the ring.

He was about to get some revenge on Paul Heyman. However, The Street Champion just got back in time. Despite that, Jey Uso shoved him away and finally landed a Superkick on Paul Heyman. The crowd really gave a loud pop at the exact moment. In the end, Jimmy’s brother stood tall as Heyman and Sikoa got shut down in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Notably, WWE did not officially confirm Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso tonight. However, there’s no swerve in there. They’re definitely going in that direction, although methodically. Also, after what went down at the PNC Arena this week, Roman Reigns won’t be pleased at all. He would’ve expected some sort of vengeance on Jey after last week, but to no avail.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns returns to work next week. He’s scheduled to go face-to-face with Jey Uso in a ‘Rules of Engagement’ segment. It’s expected that WWE will make their showdown official next Friday on FS1. That being said, they’re expected to mainevent SummerSlam next month in Detroit.

Also, that would mark Reigns’ first televised title defense since WrestleMania 39. It’s really been a long time since The Head of the Table has been put to the test. After becoming the first man to pin Roman after almost 1300 days, Jey Uso is the biggest possible threat to Reigns’ legacy right now. If he garners enough courage to pull off the upset at Ford Field, Jey might just rule this space.

However, some things look good only in imagination. Reigns won’t just casually allow anyone to strip him of the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. He has gone through numerous opponents in this record-setting reign. However, it’s also true that there’s no one more familiar with Roman’s mindset than his own cousin.
