After weeks of absence from Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley finally made her presence felt on the red brand. Mami wasn’t in the best of moods to fiddle around tonight. Therefore, the furious champion confronted her Judgment Day family. Following this, Jey Uso made a wild claim that Rhea Ripley is the new Tribal Chief of Monday Night Raw.
After engaging in a severe brawl with Nia Jax in the opening segment, a visibly pissed off Mami wasted no time handling other business. She called out The Judgment Day and confronted Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest. She alleged that Priest failed to fulfill his responsibilities in her absence and gave an ultimatum to Dom to retain his North American title or don’t bother to come home.
Then hit Main Event Jey Uso’s music in the arena. Jey chimed in, and said, “Hey, hey, first and foremost importantly, can we welcome back Miss Rhea Ripley. Hey, we missed you, we all missed you. It looks like there is a new Tribal Chief on Monday night, and apparently she has bigger balls than Roman Reigns ever did,” and took a jibe at the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
The 38-year-old superstar flirtatiously welcomed back Rhea Ripley. He proclaimed her the new Tribal Chief of Monday Night Raw. Furthermore, he went as far as to say that she is much more ballsy than Roman Reigns ever was. While Ripley remained silent, her facial expressions gave away that the champion was amused by Jey’s compliment. Nonetheless, Priest and Dirty Dom weren’t pleased with Jey throwing himself into their business.
The Judgment Day are set to defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Jey Uso has been at loggerheads with The Judgment Day for a while now. The heel stable did everything they could to recruit the former Bloodline member into their group. However, Jey outright rejected their proposal and has been the center of their target since then. Now The Judgment Day will put their titles on the line against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at Fastline.
A physical melee erupted on Monday Night Raw tonight after Dominik Mysterio laid his hands on Jey Uso. JD McDonagh jumped in and ganged up on the 38-year-old superstar. It was a 2-on-1 situation until The American Nightmare darted his way to the ring and connected Mysterio with a Cross Rhodes.
WWE official Adam Pearce came out and said The Judgment Day has caused enough chaos on the red brand, and now he is going to rectify that. He proceeded to set up a tag team title match between Damian Priest and Finn Balor vs. Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. However, it is highly unlikely for the makeshift team of Jey and Cody to win this Sunday. There is a possibility of interference, either from Kevin Owens or Drew McIntyre, costing them the championship.
