Jey Uso set to face 41-year-old Superstar on next week’s Raw in a first-time-ever matchup
Ever since switching to Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso will face his biggest challenge yet next week.

Over the past few weeks, The Judgment Day has been trying to recruit Jey Uso to their group. Despite presenting him with the ludicrous intentions of Rhea Ripley, the former tag-team champion remained dogmatic in his approach. Last week, Uso stood up against the villainous stable and picked his sides, joining forces with Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn.
Since Jey Uso has ultimately chosen which side he’s on, it’s now time to face the repercussions. As announced via an official video package, the 38-year-old will go one-on-one with Damian Priest on the upcoming edition of WWE RAW. These two stars have never faced each other in a singles competition. After what Jey did to The Judgment Day, this match was just a matter of time.
At the moment, there’s a massive 4-on-4 situation developing on the red brand. While Judgment Day has seemingly enjoyed the services of JD McDonagh, the faction has not accepted him in an official capacity, especially by Senor Money in the Bank. On the other side, Cody Rhodes is leading the babyfaces with Jey, Kevin, and Sami by his side.
Something is cooking among them, and the fans might witness some sort of a war. Speaking of war, the Survivor Series is in November. If WWE continues having WarGames matches just like they did last year, The Judgment Day is certain to be involved.
Although the fans have already complained about the overgrazing of the ongoing tensions between The Judgment Day and Team Cody Rhodes, they seem far from over. The mentioned exponents are in agony and would want to settle their differences inside WarGames, if possible.

What is the eventual plan for Jey Uso?
Even after his trade to RAW, Jey Uso’s endgame is still on the blue brand. The man who betrayed Main Event Jey at SummerSlam is Jimmy Uso. Despite stating he’s got nothing to do with The Bloodline anymore, he’s slowly making his way back to where he was. Jimmy and Solo have been wreaking havoc recently, which will see them face the duo of John Cena and LA Knight at Fastlane.

Jimmy Uso’s current storyline direction appears to be temporary, as he will potentially have a Brother vs. Brother match against Jey Uso. Originally, there were plans to delay this match until WrestleMania 40, and it seems those plans are still in place.
A battle of such magnitude deserves a spectacle like WrestleMania and could be a masterpiece based on their real-life association. It would be interesting to see how WWE handles this feud whenever it kicks off. Jey has grown into an actual star and the heel tactics of Jimmy could make the case even better.
