It has been over six months since The Bloodline gradually began to crumble. Sami Zayn was the first member to break away from the heel faction. Months later, Jey Uso followed in his footsteps and left the stable. Speaking of Sami, Jey recently heaped praise on him for his valuable contributions to the villainous group.

Jey Uso recently gave an exclusive interview to The Ringer discussing his solo act currently. In addition, he weighed in on his journey in The Bloodline. While speaking about the heel stable, Main Event Jey had major praise for the former Honorary Uce. He went so far as to claim that there was darkness within The Bloodline until Sami Zayn joined.

The 38-year-old stated that The Bloodline was always dark and serious before the arrival of Sami Zayn. However, the instant Zayn joined forces with the group, he added a comedic and entertainment factor to it, per Jey Uso. He also added that the 39-year-old had a dynamic relationship with each member of The Bloodline.

Bloodline was so dark all the time, you feel me? Like, we was just mad all the time, beating up everybody. When Sami Zayn came in, he elevated that.

The two men are now teammates for the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames match.

Jey Uso names Jimmy Uso and Seth Rollins as his WrestleMania 40 dream opponents

It wouldn’t be amiss to say that Jey Uso is the breakout singles superstar of 2023. The 38-year-old is on the first-ever solo run of his decade-long wrestling career. Not only has Jey passed the solo act test with flying colors, but he has already cemented himself as a top babyface. Given his ever-increasing popularity, it is certain that the superstar will be booked for a singles match at WrestleMania 40.

While speaking to Carl Lamarre of Billboard, Main Event Jey Uso named his top dream opponents for the upcoming WrestleMania. While his brother, Jimmy Uso, is at the top of his dream opponent list, the Raw superstar wouldn’t mind facing Seth Rollins at The Show of Shows.

Right now, I feel like Jimmy’s at the top of the list. He’s gotta get this work. He’s still ducking me right now. He knows what it is. If I could talk from Josh and me, it’s my dream match. If this does happen, I’d be so grateful and happy... If I could pick someone else, I’d probably wanna run it one time with Seth Rollins for that championship.

Furthermore, he added that clashing with his own brother in front of a sold-out Philadelphia would be a career-defining moment. Jey, however, is open to facing Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. Describing Rollins as a GOAT, the 38-year-old said that he would likely challenge the former for his coveted gold. Jey Uso concluded his answer by admitting that Seth Rollins has been running the red brand for months.
