John Cena kicked off this week’s SmackDown with a bang. Once he soaked up the energy from a sold-out, raucous crowd in Hershey, he dropped some good news. That said, Cena announced that he’s going to host Payback. Before he could say much, Jimmy Uso interrupted the 16-time World Champion with a new theme song.

Jimmy simply asked John why he was there. However, Cena was not in the mood to mess up. Instead, he decided to cut Jimmy off midway and utter the words he wanted to say to him. And, just like that, John said, “The wrong Uso quit,” referring to Jey Uso’s kayfabe WWE exit.

After John Cena verbally pierced Jimmy apart, the latter turned away as if he were about to leave. But he tried to bluff the Cenation Leader, almost trying to rattle John’s chin with a Superkick. However, the 46-year-old WWE legend caught Uso and executed the Attitude Adjustment on Jimmy.

It’s safe to say that John Cena delivered one of the many AAs he’s about to have in this run. After the segment, Jimmy even approached Adam Pearce backstage, who was talking with Michin. Jimmy cut them off in a way that the former Mia Yim felt was rude.

Pearce too asked him to leave them alone. AJ Styles became cognizant of Jimmy’s unsettling behavior, and he became furious. Later on, after getting blindsided by Solo Sikoa while Styles was dissing Jimmy, Solo vs. Styles became official for the main event.

Before getting to the match, Solo told Jimmy that he was not out of The Bloodline until they said it. However, Jim informed his younger brother that neither he nor Roman or Paul could tell him what to do. After that, Jimmy left the arena. Styles and Sikoa started strong in their first-ever matchup.

As expected, the action was well-paced, with an abundance of unique offenses. During the closing moments, just as Styles was about to deliver a Phenomenal Forearm to Solo, someone on ringside tripped Styles off his feet on the apron. As a result, AJ lost the match.

It was none other than Jimmy Uso who hid under the ring. Afterwards, Solo tried to attack Jimmy too when the latter came into the ring and hugged Sikoa. However, Paul Heyman stopped him from doing so. Jimmy raised his hands to the sky at the end and indicated that he wanted to be back in The Bloodline.
