The Cenation Leader, John Cena, is one of the most prominent superstars of all time. In fact, the sixteen-time World Champion has fought many marquee opponents. Without a doubt, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the greatest rivals of Cena’s career. The two had an amazing feud, which led to them having two consecutive matches at WrestleMania 28 & 29.
The feud, which spanned for almost three years, saw The Franchise Player berating The Great One for leaving WWE for the Hollywood industry. Since then, the former has also followed a similar path, subsequently kicking off his acting career. As a result, the wrestling community called out John Cena for being a “hypocrite.”
Recently, the Cenation Leader expressed his disappointment with his attitude during the “Once In A Lifetime” rivalry with The Rock. During the Fastlane press conference, John Cena admitted that he violated Dwayne Johnson’s trust without knowing about his perspective back then.
“I had to say, ‘I’m sorry, and I was wrong,’ because I am sorry and I was wrong, and that’s a very humbling experience. Dwayne is a hell of a guy… I became who I despised. I see that perspective, and I understand it. It was a great learning experience from my mistake with feuding with The Rock,” the Cenation Leader said.
All in all, the future Hall of Famers have since settled their real-life animosity, with them publicly apologizing on previous occasions. Currently, John Cena is rejoicing in what looks like one of the final runs of his career. Meanwhile, The Rock is rumored to wrestle at next year’s WrestleMania to face his cousin, Roman Reigns.

Last night’s NXT was one of the biggest episodes of the brand’s history. Going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, WWE stacked the card with the likes of Asuka, Cody Rhodes, and John Cena. The latter appeared on the developmental brand for the first time in almost ten years, to support Carmelo Hayes in the main event match against Bron Breakker.
During the show, the Cenation Leader interacted with the former NXT Champion and Trick Williams backstage. Furthermore, he accompanied him for his bout, helping Hayes fend off Solo Sikoa. Evidently, John Cena endorsed the talented superstar throughout the edition.
Moreover, The Undertaker later made a triumphant return, chokeslaming Bron Breakker after his match and acknowledging Carmelo Hayes. Needless to say, the 29-year-old is definitely a future World Champion in the eyes of the WWE and fans.
