John Cena is undeniably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, with uncountable records to his name in his 20+-year career. Although he is not active in the company and has shifted his focus to Hollywood, The Cenation Leader will never miss a chance for one more match. Recently, the sixteen-time World Champion heaped praise on Logan Paul‘s WWE run.
Cena was a guest on fellow WWE Superstar and United States Champion Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, and talked about many things regarding his career and personal life. During the conversation, he was asked about Paul’s inclusion in WWE, and he gave a really thoughtful answer.
When talking about Paul’s inclusion in the wrestling business, Cena particularly appreciated his willingness to take this business seriously and put his body on the line. He further explained to Logan that because he was serious about this thing, he went to become a full-time WWE superstar from just a special guest.
Right away, with what you are willing to sacrifice in terms of your health and well-being with the moves that you do, I can see that you give a sh*t, and that means a lot. You're not here to just do the thing once, you went from like special guest to full-time superstar in five minutes and that's very refreshing.John Cena on Logan Paul joining WWE via Impaulsive podcast
Logan Paul has really proved that he can hang with some of the top stars of the company and has also gained their respect for how seriously he takes wrestling. He will defend his United States Title against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble PLE. It will be interesting to see whether Logan retains the championship in his first title defense or not.
John Cena gives his opinion on his retirement on Logan Paul’s podcast
The Greatest Of All Time John Cena has given the fans many memorable moments throughout his career. However, after all these years and accomplishments, he gave his opinion about hanging the boots soon.
During the Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul asked the 46-year-old legend whether he was going to have one more match in the future, and much to the fans’ happiness, he replied positively and said he would wrestle again. However, Cena further added that he’s aware of his situation and that his time for retirement is coming soon.
Yes, I hope so... I am not officially done. I know that, I am close, I can feel it. Specially seeing you out there doing incredible things and the talent and the product now has become so crisp and so fast, and so skilled, that it is a different world. I love it and I still feel fluent, and I will like to say goodbye when I still feel fluent.John Cena on his retirement via Impaulsive podcast
The 16-time World Champion wrestled his last match at Crown Jewel and unfortunately lost to Solo Sikoa, with him hitting more than vicious spikes. Needless to say, John Cena’s final match and subsequent retirement will be a tough pill to swallow for the WWE Universe.
